Caroline Underhill was born on 9 July 1803 in New York City, New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Joshua Underhill and Mary Sutton.1 Caroline Underhill married William Cromwell, son of James Cromwell and Charlotte (?), on 9 November 1825 in New York City, New York.2 Caroline Underhill died on 16 September 1848 in New York City, New York, at age 45.2 She was buried at Friends Cemetery, Prospect Park, New York City, New York.2
She became the mother of Mary Cromwell in 1826.2 Caroline Underhill with Joshua Underhill were disowned at New York Monthy Meeting (Hicksite) in 1829.1 Caroline Underhill became the mother of Eliza Cromwell in 1829.2 Caroline Underhill became the mother of Caroline Ann Cromwell on 12 June 1833.2 Caroline Underhill became the mother of Alice U.
