Mary Sutton was born on 7 March 1767 in Somers, Westchester County, New York.2,3 She was the daughter of Richard Sutton and Elizabeth Quimby.2 Mary Sutton married Joshua Underhill, son of Isaac Underhill and Sarah Field, on 13 October 1789 or 19 November 1789; Wood says 13 Oct, Underhill says 19 Nov.2,3 Mary Sutton died on 12 July 1820 at age 53.3 She is also reported to have died on 12 December 1820 at age 53.2 She was buried in Friends' Burying Ground (Now part of Prospect Park), Brooklyn, New York City, New York.3 She was reburied in 1871 in Woodlawn Cemetary, Bronx, New York City, New York.3
