Elizabeth Underhill with Joshua Underhill and Mary Sutton were received on certificate from at Chappaqua Monthly Meeting on 12 April 1793.1 Elizabeth Underhill with Joshua Underhill were disowned at New York Monthy Meeting (Hicksite) in 1829.1 Elizabeth's father Joshua Underhill died on 14 February 1839 at his home No. 40 Market Street, New York City, New York.3,4,2 Elizabeth Underhill and John R. Willis lived at No. 9 Cherry Street, New York City, New York.2 Elizabeth Underhill became a widow when her husband, John R. Willis died from a fall in 1844.2 Mrs. Elizabeth Willis was mentioned in the will of Joshua Sutton Underhill dated 7 March 1857 at No. 17 East 25th Street, New York City, New York.2
