King Charles II "the Bald" (?) was born on 13 June 823 in Frankfurt, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.2 He was the son of Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Judith (of Bavaria).2 King Charles II "the Bald" (?) married Countess Ermentrude (Irmtrud) (of Orleans), daughter of Count Eudes (of Orleans) and Countess Ingeltrude (of Orleans), on 13 December 842 in Crecy, France.2 King Charles II "the Bald" (?) married Countess Richilde (of Metz (Ardennes)), daughter of TODO, on 22 January 870 in Aix La Chapelle, France.2 King Charles II "the Bald" (?) died on 6 October 877 in Brides Les Bains, Bourgogne, at age 54.2 He was buried in St Denis, France.2
