Princess Judith (of Bavaria) was born about 800 in Altdorf.1 She was the daughter of Duke Guelph I (Welf I) (of Bavaria) and Hedwig Duchess (of Bavaria).1 Princess Judith (of Bavaria) married Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire), son of Emperor Charlemagne (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Hildegard Empress (of the Holy Roman Empire), in February 819 in Aix La Chapelle, Austrasia.1 Princess Judith (of Bavaria) died on 19 April 843 in Tours, Neustria.1
She became the mother of Princess Gisela (of the Holy Roman Empire) about 820.1 Princess Judith (of Bavaria) became the mother of King Charles II "the Bald" (?) on 13 June 823.1 Judith's father Duke Guelph I (Welf I) (of Bavaria) died about 830.1 Princess Judith (of Bavaria) became a widow with the death of her husband, Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire) on 20 June 840 Near Ingelheim, Rhinehessen, Hesse, at age 61.1 Judith's son King Charles II "the Bald" (?) was married to Countess Ermentrude (Irmtrud) (of Orleans) on 13 December 842 in Crecy, France.1
