Isabella (of Aragon) was born in 1247 of Barcelona, Aragon.2,1 She was the daughter of King James I "the Conqueror" and Princess Yolande.1 Isabella (of Aragon) married King Philip III "the Bold" (of France), son of King Louis IX "St Louis" (of France) and Margaret (of Provence), on 28 May 1262; by permission of Pope Urban IV.1 Isabella (of Aragon) died on 28 January 1271/72 in Clermont, Auvergne, France, survived by King Philip III "the Bold" (of France).1 Isabella (of Aragon) is also reported to have died on 28 January 1271/72 in Cosenza, Italy.2 She was buried in Saint Denis, France.2
Isabella's mother Princess Yolande died on 12 October 1251 in Huesca, Spain.1 Isabella (of Aragon) became the mother of Prince Louis (of France) about 1265.2 Isabella (of Aragon) became the mother of King Philip IV (of France) "the Fair" in 1268.1 Isabella (of Aragon) became the mother of Prince Robert (of France) in 1269.2 Isabella (of Aragon) became the mother of Prince Charles I (of Valois) on 12 March 1270/71.1
