Prince Charles I (of Valois) was born on 12 March 1270/71 in Vincennes, France.2 He was the son of King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) and Isabella (of Aragon).2 Prince Charles I (of Valois) married Princess Marguerite (of Naples and Sicily), daughter of King Charles II "le Boiteux" (the lame) of Naples, Sicily and Jerusalem and Princess Maria of Hungary, on 16 August 1290 in Corbeil, France.2 Prince Charles I (of Valois) died on 16 December 1325 in Paris, France, at age 54.2 He was buried at St. Jacques, Paris, France.2
