Titled: Pilgrim in 1620.
Hon. John Alden was born about 1598 In a deposition made on 6 July 1682, John said he was aged 83 years or thereabout, yielding birth date between 6 July 1598 to 5 July 1589. At his death, on 12 sept 1597, a broadside was printed stating that he was 89 years of age, yielding a birth date between 12 Sept 1597 and 11 Sept 1598. Combined they give us a range of 6 July 1598 to 11 Sept 1598, or thereabouts.2 He married Pilgrim Priscilla Mullins, daughter of Pilgrim William Mullins and Pilgrim Alice (?), before 1623 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony; Before the 1623 division of land as Priscilla is not mentioned, presumably included in John's share.2 Hon. John Alden died on 12 September 1687 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, New Plymouth Colony, Old Style.2
He was a Cooper.2 He emmigrated on 6 August 1620 on the Ship 'Mayflower'.3 Hon. John Alden immigrated in November 1620 to in Plymouth, Plymouth County, New Plymouth Colony, on the Ship 'Mayflower'.2 Hon. John Alden signed The Mayflower Compact on 11 November 1620 at Cape Cod. Hon. John Alden became the father of Elizabeth Alden in 1624/25; Based on age at death.2 Hon. John Alden became the father of John Alden about 1626.4 Hon. John Alden became the father of Joseph Alden after 22 May 1627.5 Hon. John Alden became the father of Sarah Alden about 1629.4 Hon. John Alden became the father of Priscilla Alden about 1630.6 Hon. John Alden became the father of Lydia Alden on 3 April 1652.10 John's son was married at wedding of Joseph Alden and Mary Simmons in 1657 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.5 John's daughter was married at wedding of Ruth Alden and John Bass on 3 February 1657/58 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.11,8,1,2 John's son was married at wedding of John Alden and Elizabeth Philips on 1 April 1660 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.12 John's daughter was married at wedding of Lydia Alden and John Spooner on 12 November 1668.10 John's son was married at wedding of Captain Jonathan Alden and Abigail Hallett on 10 December 1672 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.8 John's daughter Ruth Alden died on 12 October 1674 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.13,8,2 Hon. John Alden became a widower with the death of his wife, Pilgrim Priscilla Mullins on 12 September 1687 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.14
