Joseph Alden was born after 22 May 1627 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.1 He was the son of Hon. John Alden and Pilgrim Priscilla Mullins.2 Joseph Alden married Mary Simmons, daughter of Moses Simmons and Sarah Simmons?, in 1657 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.1 Joseph Alden died on 8 February 1695/96 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1
He became the father of Joseph Alden about 1667.3 Joseph Alden became the father of John Alden in 1674.3 Joseph's father Hon. John Alden died on 12 September 1687 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, New Plymouth Colony; Old Style.2 Joseph's mother Pilgrim Priscilla Mullins died on 12 September 1687 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.4
