Book of Zephaniah in the Bible begins during the reign on King Josiah of Judah after 640 BCE.61 He became the father of King Jehoiakim of Judah 634 BCE. King Josiah of Judah became the father of King Jehoahaz of Judah 632 BCE ; as was age 23 when became king.62
Book of Jeremiah in the Bible begins in the 13th year of the reign of King Josiah of Judah 627 BCE.63 The Book of the Law was found by Hilkiah (2 Chron 34) and given to King Josiah of Judah.64
King Josiah of Judah was replaced as King of Judah by King Jehoahaz of Judah 609 BCE.60 Pharaoh Necho (II) (?) Defeated King Josiah of Judah, at Megiddo (cf 2 Kings 23:29-30 and 2 Chron. 35:20-24) in the batle of Carchemish, 605BC. Became king when he was 8 years old and reigned in Jerusalem for 31 years (2Ki 2).
He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD (2Ki 22:2).

Buried in his own tomb in Jerusalem (2Ki 23).4
