Experience Mitchell was born about 1602.1 He married Jane Cooke, daughter of Pilgrim Francis Cooke and Hester Mahieu, after 22 May 1627.1 Experience Mitchell married Mary (?) about 1640 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 Experience Mitchell died on 2 June 1685 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 He is also reported to have died in 1688/89 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2
He immigrated in August 1623 on the Ship 'Anne'.3 Experience Mitchell became the father of Elizabeth Mitchell about 1629.1 Experience Mitchell became the father of Thomas Mitchell about 1630.1 Experience Mitchell became the father of Mary Mitchell about 1632.1 Experience Mitchell became the father of Sarah Mitchell about 1641.1 Experience Mitchell became the father of Jacob Mitchell about 1643.1 Experience Mitchell became the father of Edward Mitchell about 1645.1 Experience's daughter was married at wedding of Elizabeth Mitchell and John Washburn on 6 December 1645 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 Experience Mitchell became the father of John Mitchell about 1650.1 Experience Mitchell became the father of Hannah Mitchell about 1662.1 Experience's son was married at wedding of Jacob Mitchell and Susanna Pope on 7 November 1666 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.4 Experience's daughter Elizabeth Mitchell died on 1 November 1681.1 Experience's daughter was married at wedding of Hannah Mitchell and Joseph Hayward in 1682.1
