Mary Cooke

Mary Cooke was born between 22 March 1626 and 21 March 1627 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.¹ She was the daughter of Pilgrim Francis Cooke and Hester Mahieu.¹ Mary Cooke married John Tompson on 26 December 1645 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.¹ Mary Cooke died on 21 March 1713/14 in Middleborough, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.¹
She became the mother of Adam Tomson before 26 September 1646. Mary's son Adam Tomson died about 1648.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of John Tomson in 1648.¹ Mary's son John Tomson died on 11 February 1648/49.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of John Tomson on 24 November 1649.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Mary Tomson about 1651.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Esther Tomson on 28 July 1652.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Elizabeth Tomson on 28 January 1653/54.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Sarah Tomson on 4 April 1657.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Lydia Tomson on 5 October 1659.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Jacob Tomson on 24 April 1662.¹ Mary's father Pilgrim Francis Cooke died on 7 April 1663 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Thomas Tomson on 19 October 1664.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Peter Tomson between 1666 and 1669.¹ Mary's mother Hester Mahieu died on 8 June 1666 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.¹ Mary Cooke became the mother of Mercy Tomson on 20 April 1671.¹ Mary's daughter was married at wedding of Mary Tomson and Thomas Taber on 16 June 1672 in Dartmouth, (now Bristol County), New Plymouth Colony.^2,3 Mary Cooke became a widow with the death of her husband, John Tompson on 16 June 1696 in Middleboro, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, at age 79.¹
