Mary Cooke

Mary Cooke was born about 1652 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Pilgrim John Cooke and Sarah Warren. Mary Cooke married first Philip Taber, son of Philip Taber and Lydia Masters, in 1667 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.^2,3 Mary Cooke married (?) Davis. Mary Cooke is also reported to have died in 1694 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.⁴ She died on 25 August 1712 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.²
She became the mother of Mary Taber on 28 January 1667/68.² Mary Cooke became the mother of Sarah Taber on 26 March 1671.² Mary Cooke became the mother of Lydia Taber on 28 September 1673.² Mary Cooke became the mother of Rev Philip Taber on 29 February 1675/76.² Mary Cooke became the mother of Abigail Taber on 27 October 1678.² Mary Cooke became the mother of Esther Taber on 23 February 1679/80.² Mary Cooke became the mother of John Taber on 18 July 1684.² Mary Cooke became the mother of Bethia Taber on 18 April 1689.² Mary's daughter was married at wedding of Mary Taber and Thomas Earl in 1693 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
