Hester Cooke was born on 16 August 1650 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2 She was the daughter of Pilgrim John Cooke and Sarah Warren. Hester Cooke married Thomas Taber, son of Philip Taber and Lydia Masters, in 1667 in Dartmouth, (now Bristol County), New Plymouth Colony.3,4,5 Hester Cooke died in 1671 in Dartmouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.3 She is also reported to have died in 1672.4
She became the mother of Thomas Taber on 29 October 1668.1
