Salome (Mark 15-16) was the daughter of Heli (Luke 3). Salome (Mark 15-16) married Zebedee (Gospel).
Salome appears to be the sister of Mary, the wife of Zebedee and mother of James and John by comparing Mark 16:1 (Salome), John 19:25 (Mary's sister) Matthew 27:56 (called mother of Zebedee's sons). It is also fitting that the Apostle John be a close relation to Jesus when he is charged with taking care of Mary.
