Adelaide (of Blois) was born about 1140 of Blois, France.2 She was the daughter of Count Thibaud IV (II) (of Blois and Champagne) and Mathilda von Sponheim.2 Adelaide (of Blois) married King Louis VII "the Young" (of France), son of King Louis VI, 'The Fat' (of France) and Adelaide (of Maurienne), on 13 November 1160.2,3 Adelaide (of Blois) died on 4 June 1206 in Paris, Isle De France.2 She was buried at Abbaye De Pontigny, Pontigny, Isle De France.2
She became the mother of King Philip II Augustus on 22 August 1165.3 Adelaide (of Blois) became the mother of Princess Alix (of France) about 1170.2 Adelaide (of Blois) became the mother of Princess Agnaes (Anna) (of France) in 1171.2 Adelaide's son King Philip II Augustus was married to Isabella (of Hainault and Flanders) on 28 April 1180 in Bapaume, France.3 Adelaide (of Blois) became a widow with the death of her husband, King Louis VII "the Young" (of France) on 18 September 1180 in Paris, France.3
