Names and TItles

Titled: heiress and regent of Provence and Forcalquier between 1213 and 1217.1
Gersinde (of Sabran) was born about 1181 of Forcalquiers, Basses-Alpes, France.2 She was the daughter of TODO. Gersinde (of Sabran) married Prince Alfonso (of Aragon), son of King Alfonso II (?) and Sancha (?), in 1193.1 A contract for the marriage of Gersinde (of Sabran) and Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) was signed in July 1193 in Aix-En-Provence, Bouches-Du-Rhone, France.2 Gersinde (of Sabran) died after 1222.3
She became the mother of Count Raymond Berenger V (IV) (of Provence & Forcalquier) in 1198.1 Gersinde (of Sabran) became the mother of Countess Gersinde (of Provence) about 1200.2 Gersinde (of Sabran) became a widow with the death of her husband, Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) in February 1208/9 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.1 Gersinde (of Sabran) was a nun in 1222.1
