Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) was born in 1180 of Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain.2,1 He was the son of King Alfonso II (?) and Sancha (?)1 Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) married Gersinde (of Sabran), daughter of TODO, in 1193.1 A contract for the marriage of Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) and Gersinde (of Sabran) was signed in July 1193 in Aix-En-Provence, Bouches-Du-Rhone, France.2 Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) died in February 1208/9 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, survived by Gersinde (of Sabran).1
Alfonso's father King Alfonso II (?) died on 25 April 1196 in Perpignan.4 Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) became the father of Count Raymond Berenger V (IV) (of Provence & Forcalquier) in 1198.1 Prince Alfonso (of Aragon) became the father of Countess Gersinde (of Provence) about 1200.2
