King Andrew II (of Hungary) was born in 1176 of Esztergom, Komarom-Esztergom, Hungary.2,1 He was the son of King Bela III (of Hungary) and Agnes (Anne) de Chatillon-sur-Loing.1,2 King Andrew II (of Hungary) married first Gertrude von Meran, daughter of Count Berthold VI of Andechs and Agnes von Groitzsch-Rochlitz, before 1203.1 King Andrew II (of Hungary) married second Queen Yolande de Courtenay, daughter of TODO, in 1215.1 King Andrew II (of Hungary) married third Beatrice von Este, daughter of Marquis Aldobrandino I (of Este), on 14 May 1234.1 King Andrew II (of Hungary) died on 21 September 1235.1,2 He was buried in Eger, Heves, Hungary.2
