Seaborn Cotton was born on 12 August 1633 at Sea.1,2 He was the son of John Cotton and Sarah Hawkridge.2,1 Seaborn Cotton was baptized on 8 September 1633 at the First Church, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 He married Dorothy Bradstreet, daughter of Simon Bradstreet, on 14 June 1654 in Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts.1
Seaborn Cotton was educated in 1651 at Harvard University.1
