Duchess Constance (of Brittany) was born on 12 June 1166 of Bretagne, France.2 She was the daughter of Count Conan IV 'le Petit' (of Bretagne) and Princess Margaret (of Scotland).2 Duchess Constance (of Brittany) married Prince Geoffrey (of England), son of King Henry II "Curt Mantle" Plantagenet of England and Queen Eleanor (of Aquitaine), between July 1181 and 1182.2,1 Duchess Constance (of Brittany) died on 31 August 1201 in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, France, at age 35.2 She was buried on 24 November 1225 in Abbydevilleneuve, Pas De Calais, France.2
Constance's father Count Conan IV 'le Petit' (of Bretagne) died on 20 February 1170/71 in Brittany, France.2 Duchess Constance (of Brittany) became the mother of Princess Eleanor (of England) in 1184.2 Duchess Constance (of Brittany) became the mother of Princess Maud (of England) about 1185.2 Duchess Constance (of Brittany) became a widow with the death of her husband, Prince Geoffrey (of England) on 19 August 1186 in Paris, France, at age 27.2 Duchess Constance (of Brittany) became the mother of Duke Arthur I (of Brittany) on 30 April 1187.2 Constance's mother Princess Margaret (of Scotland) died in 1201.2
