Emperor Zikmund (of the Holy Roman Empire) was born on 14 February 1368 in Mittelfranken, Bavaria
.1 He was the son of Emperor Karel IV (Vacvel Karel) (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Elisabeth (of Pomerania).1 Emperor Zikmund (of the Holy Roman Empire) married Countess Barbara (of Cilly), daughter of Count Hermann II (of Cilli-Ortenburg) and Countess Anna (of Schaunberg), in 1408.1 Emperor Zikmund (of the Holy Roman Empire) died on 9 December 1437 in Nagyvarad, Bihar Megye, Hungary, at age 69.1 He was buried in Nagyvarad, Bihar Megye, Hungary.1
