Princess Karoline Luise (of Hesse-Darmstadt)

Princess Karoline Luise (of Hesse-Darmstadt) was born on 11 July 1723 in Darmstadt, Starkenberg, Hesse-Darmstadt.¹ She was the daughter of Landgrave Ludwig VIII (of Hesse-Darmstadt) and Countess Charlotte Christine Magdalene (of Hanau-Lichtenberg).¹ Princess Karoline Luise (of Hesse-Darmstadt) married Grand Duke Karl Friedrich (of Baden), son of Prince Friedrich (of Baden-Durlach) and Anne Charlotte (?), on 28 January 1751 at Residenzschloss, Darmstadt, Starkenburg, Hesse-Darmstadt.¹ Princess Karoline Luise (of Hesse-Darmstadt) died on 8 April 1783 in Paris, Seine, France, at age 59.¹ She was buried in April 1783 in Michaelskirche, Pforzheim, Karlsruhe, Baden.¹
