King August III (Friedrich) (of Poland) was born on 17 October 1696 in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony.1 He was the son of Elector Friedrich Augustus I 'The Strong' (of Saxony) and Queen Christiane Eberhardine (of Poland).1 King August III (Friedrich) (of Poland) married Queen Marie Josefe (of Poland), daughter of Emperor Josef I (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Wilhelmine Amalie (of Brunswick-Luneburg), on 20 August 1719 in Wien, Wien, Austria.1 King August III (Friedrich) (of Poland) died on 5 October 1763 in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony, at age 66.1 He was buried in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony.1
