Elizabeth De Burgh was born about 1284 of Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Earl Richard de Burgh and Margaret de Burgh.1 Elizabeth De Burgh married King Robert I (The Bruce) (of Scotland), son of Robert Bruce and Countess Margaret (of Carrick), in 1302 in Writtle, Near Chelsford, Essex, England.1,2 Elizabeth De Burgh died on 26 October 1327 in Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was buried in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.1
