Queen Berengaria (of Castile) was born between January 1180 and June 1180 in Burgos, Castile.2 She was the daughter of King Alfonso VIII 'The Noble' Sanchez of Castile and Princess Eleanor (of England).2 Queen Berengaria (of Castile) married King Alfonso IX "el Barboro" (of Leon), son of King Fernando II (?) and Princess Urraca (?), in December 1197 in Valladolid, Spain; Later anulled.3 Queen Berengaria (of Castile) died on 8 November 1246 in Burgos, Castile.2
