     Mary Ferris Taber was born on 9 March 1852.2 She was the daughter of Augustus Taber and Anna Haviland Ferris.1,2,3 Mary Ferris Taber married Edward W. Parson, son of James Parsons and Eliza Cock, on 5 October 1876 in Westchester County, New York.1,3,4 Mary Ferris Taber died on 17 February 1896 in San Jose, California, at age 43.1
     She was a Quaker.2 She met for worship at at New York Monthy Meeting.2 She became the mother of Edith Ferris Parson on 5 July 1878.1 Mary Ferris Taber became the mother of Augustus Taber Parson on 21 February 1883.1
