     Princess Karoline Polyxene (of Nassau-Usingen) was born on 4 April 1762 at Schloss, Biebrich, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia, to, daughter of Prince Karl Wilhelm (of Nassau-Usingen) and Countess Karoline Felizitas (of Leiningen-Dachsburg-Heidesheim).1 Princess Karoline Polyxene (of Nassau-Usingen) was the daughter of Prince Karl Wilhelm (of Nassau-Usingen) and Countess Karoline Felizitas (of Leiningen-Dachsburg-Heidesheim).1 Princess Karoline Polyxene (of Nassau-Usingen) was christened on 5 April 1762 at Schloss, Biebrich, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.1 She married Landgrave Friedrich (of Hesse-Cassel-Rumpenheim), son of Landgrave Friedrich II (of Hesse-Cassel) and Mary Hanover, on 2 December 1786 in Biebrich, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.1 Princess Karoline Polyxene (of Nassau-Usingen) died on 17 August 1823 in Rumpenheim, Starkenburg, Hesse-Darmstadt, at age 61.1 She was buried on 21 August 1823 in Rumpenheim, Starkenburg, Hesse-Darmstadt.1
