Names and Titles

Variation: Oholibamah.
Oholibamah (Gen 36:2-19) was the daughter of Anah (Gen 36, 1 Chron 1). Oholibamah (Gen 36:2-19) married Esau (Gen 25-36), son of Isaac (יִצְחָק) (Gen 21-35) and Rebekah (Gen 22-27).
Oholibamah (Gen 36:2-19) became the mother of Jeush (Gen 36).2 Oholibamah (Gen 36:2-19) became the mother of Jalam (Gen 36).2 Oholibamah (Gen 36:2-19) became the mother of Korah (Gen 36).2
The names Anah and Dishon are duplicated in Genesis 36, and 1 Chronicals 1, being listed as both "sons" of Seir in Genesis 36:20-21, and for Anah as the son of Zibeon in verse 24, and for Dishon as the son of Anah in verse 25. From verse 2 Oholibamah who was also listed in vers 24, puts that Anah as the son of Zibeon, I am presuming that the references in Genesis 36:20-21, and 1 Chronicles 1:38 are using the more generic meaning of "son" to be descendant and these are not disticnt people by the same names.3
