     Duke Robert 'Fortis' (of France), son of Rutpert (Robert) III (of Wormsgau) and Wiltrud (Waltrada) (of Orleans), was born circa 820 of France.1 Duke Robert 'Fortis' (of France) was the son of Rutpert (Robert) III (of Wormsgau) and Wiltrud (Waltrada) (of Orleans).1 Duke Robert 'Fortis' (of France) married Princess Adbelahide (Adelheid) (of the Holy Roman Empire), daughter of Emperor Louis 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Ermengarde (of the Holy Roman Empire), in 864 in France.1 Duke Robert 'Fortis' (of France) died on 25 August 866 in Anjou, France.1 He was buried on 25 August 866 in St Martin De Chcateauneuf, France.1
