     Herlevin de Conteville, son of Jean de Conteville, was born circa 1001.1 Herlevin de Conteville was the son of Jean de Conteville. Herlevin de Conteville married Herleve (?), daughter of Fulbert (of Falais) and Doda (of Falaise), between 1028 and 1030. Herlevin de Conteville died circa 1066.1 He was buried in Grestain.1
     He became the father of Earl Robert de Mortain after 1040.1
