     Aymer "Taillefer" de Valence was the son of William Taillefer and Emma De Limoges.2 Aymer "Taillefer" de Valence, son of William Taillefer and Emma De Limoges, was born circa 1160 of Angouleme, Charente Maritime, France.2 Aymer "Taillefer" de Valence is also recorded born in 1165.1 He married Alice de Courtenay, daughter of Prince Pierre (of France) and Isabelle (Elizabeth) De Courtenay, in 1180 in Angouleme, Aquitaine, France.2 Aymer "Taillefer" de Valence died in 1202.1 He is also reported to have died in 1218 in L'abbey La Couroun, France.2 He was buried in L'abbey La Couroun, France.2
     Aymer "Taillefer"'s father William Taillefer died on 7 August 1187 in Messina, Sicily, Italy.2 Aymer "Taillefer" de Valence became the father of Isabella (of Angoulême) in 1188.3,2 Aymer "Taillefer"'s daughter was married at wedding of Isabella (of Angoulême) and King John "Lackland" (of England) on 24 August 1200 in Bordeaux, Gironde, France.1,3,2
