Count Henry II of Luxemburg, Namur and Bar-le-Duc was born in 1190.1 He was the son of Count Theobald I Briey, Bar-le-Duc and Luxemburg and Ermensinde Bar-le-Duc.1 Count Henry II of Luxemburg, Namur and Bar-le-Duc married Philippa de Dreux, daughter of Count Robert II Dreux and Braine and Volande de Coucy, in 1219.1 Count Henry II of Luxemburg, Namur and Bar-le-Duc died on 13 November 1239 at Gaza, Palestine, survived by Philippa de Dreux.1
Henry II's mother Ermensinde Bar-le-Duc died about 1211.1 Henry II's father Count Theobald I Briey, Bar-le-Duc and Luxemburg died on 13 February 1214.1 Count Henry II of Luxemburg, Namur and Bar-le-Duc became the father of Mathilde de Bar-le-Duc about 1220.2
