Samuel Sprague was baptized on 24 May 1640 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of William Sprague and Millicent Eames.1 Samuel Sprague married Sarah Chillingworth, daughter of Thomas Chillingworth, before 1666.1 Samuel Sprague died in 1710 in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2
He became the father of Samuel Sprague in 1674.2 Samuel's father William Sprague died on 26 October 1675 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1
