Cornell Willis was born about 1774.2 He was the son of John Willis and Margaret (?)1 Cornell Willis married Elizabeth Hicks, daughter of Benjamin Hicks and Mary (?), between 1790 and 1806?1,3 Cornell Willis died on 3 March 1849.2
He became the father of Benjamin H. Willis between 1791 and 1807?4 Cornell's son Benjamin H. Willis was married to Sarah A. Mott on 31 October 1822 in Cow Neck, Long Island, New York.1 Cornell Willis became a widower with the death of his wife, Elizabeth Hicks on 15 December 1845 at age 70.2
