Catherine Appleby was born on 17 September 1775.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Appleby and Sarah (?)1 Catherine Appleby married Samuel Mott, son of Adam Mott and Sarah Willis, on 11 September 1796; Out of Unity.1 Catherine Appleby died on 8 April 1862 at age 86.1
She became the mother of Leonard Mott on 11 May 1799.1 Catherine Appleby became the mother of Thomas Mott on 26 June 1801.1 Catherine Appleby became the mother of Sarah A. Mott on 19 September 1804.1 Catherine Appleby became the mother of Silas Mott on 4 April 1807.1 Catherine's daughter was married at wedding of Sarah A. Mott and Benjamin H. Willis on 31 October 1822 in Cow Neck, Long Island, New York.2 Catherine's son Leonard Mott was married to Hannah C. Willis on 30 October 1823 in Cow Neck, Long Island, New York.1 Catherine's mother Mrs. Sarah Appleby died in 1827.3 Catherine's father Thomas Appleby died in 1837.3 Catherine's son Thomas Mott died on 27 June 1860.1
