Henry Mott was born on 17 July 1782.1 He was the son of Stephen Mott and Amy Willis.1 Henry Mott married Temperance Hicks, daughter of Benjamin Hicks and Mary (?), on 29 August 1811 in Cow Neck, New York.2 Henry Mott died on 17 August 1851 at age 69.2 He was buried in Manhasset, New York.2
He and Westbury Monthly Meeting met of worship at at Westbury Monthly Meeting, Westbury, New York. Henry Mott became the father of Adam Mott on 14 June 1813.2 Henry's father Stephen Mott died on 11 November 1813.3 Henry Mott became the father of Benjamin Mott on 9 December 1814.2 Henry Mott became the father of Elizabeth Mott on 3 July 1820.2 Henry's mother Amy Willis died on 10 November 1822.3 Henry's son Adam Mott was married to Mary J. Powell on 24 May 1837 in Westbury, New York.2 Henry's son Benjamin Mott was married to Eliza A. Secor on 9 December 1842.2 Henry Mott became a widower with the death of his wife, Temperance Hicks on 23 October 1843 at age 58.2
