Barnabas Taber was born on 4 March 1768 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Jacob Taber and Lydia Howland.1 Barnabas Taber married Lydia Hussey, daughter of Daniel Hussey and Bethia (?), on 2 February 1791 in Vassalboro, Massachusetts (now Maine).1 Barnabas Taber died in February 1839 in Vassalboro, Maine, at age 70.1
