She became the mother of Lady Elizabeth de Burgh on 6 July 1332.1 Maud (of Lancaster) became a widow with the death of her husband, Earl William de Burgh on 6 June 1333 in LeFord (now Belfast), Ireland, at age 20.2,1 Maud's daughter was married at wedding of Lady Elizabeth de Burgh and Duke Lionel Plantagenet Of Antwerp on 9 September 1352 at the Tower of London, England.3,4,1 Maud's daughter Lady Elizabeth de Burgh died on 10 December 1363 in Dublin, Ireland.1,2
