Prince James Sobieski was born on 2 November 1667 of Paris, Seine, France.3 He was the son of King John III (of Poland) and Queen Marie Casimiere De La Grange (of Poland).1,3 Prince James Sobieski married Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg), daughter of Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine) and Princess Elisabeth Amalie (of Hesse-Darmstadt), on 25 March 1691 in Warszawa, Warszawa, Poland.3,4 Prince James Sobieski died on 19 December 1737 in Zolochev, L'vov, Ukraine, at age 70.3 He was buried in Zolochev, L'vov, Ukraine.3
