Taber, son of William Congdon Taber and Hannah Tucker Shearman, on 25 May 1854 in Ledyard, New York.1 Mary Jane Howland died on 9 January 1923 in New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts, at age 88.1
She became a widow with the death of her husband, Abraham S. Taber on 29 November 1898 at age 66.1
