John Underhull was born about 1450.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Underhull and (?) Batte.^2,1 John Underhull married first Susan Slade.¹ John Underhull married second Agnes Porter, daughter of Thomas Porter.¹ John Underhull died on 29 October 1518 survived by Agnes Porter.³ His estate was probated on 10 February 1518/19.³
John Underhull lived till age 13 in Wolverhampton, England.³ He became the father of William Underhull in 1489? ; Birth date seems in conflict with expected birth order. William is only child of fathers first wife, but birth date is after his 1/2 brother Edward, who is born to fathers 2nd wife.³ John Underhull became the father of Thomas Underhill before 1486.⁴ John Underhull became the father of Edward Underhill in 1486.⁴ John Underhull became the father of Robert Underhull after 1486.⁴ John Underhull left a will on 16 December 1514 with heirs Mrs. Agnes Underhull, Thomas Underhill, John Norwood, Susan Underhull, Dorothy Underhull, Edward Underhill, Robert Underhull and William Underhull.⁵
