Judith Livingston was born on 4 September 1785 in Poughkeepsie, New York.1 She was the daughter of Gilbert James Livingston and Susannah Lewis.1 Judith Livingston married Samuel Herrick Butler, son of Nathaniel Butler and Sarah Herrick, on 26 June 1806 in Waterford, New York.1 Judith Livingston died on 28 February 1858 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 72.1
She became the mother of Courtland Philip Livingston Butler on 8 March 1813.1 Judith's mother Susannah Lewis died on 27 July 1822 in Saratoga, New York.1 Judith's father Gilbert James Livingston died on 7 April 1833 in Rome, New York.1 Judith's son Courtland Philip Livingston Butler was married to Elizabeth Slade Pierce on 16 December 1840 in Buffalo, New York.1 Judith Livingston became a widow with the death of her husband, Samuel Herrick Butler on 13 December 1851 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 66.1
