John Sherman was born before 1530.2 He was the son of Thomas Sherman and Jane Waller.2 John Sherman married first Elizabeth (?) between 1539 and 1561?3 John Sherman married second Mrs Marion (?) Whiting after 8 July 1573.2 John Sherman married third Margaret (?) before 29 March 1586.2 John Sherman and Marion (?) obtained a marriage license on 8 July 1573.2 John Sherman died in 1587.2 He was buried on 10 September 1587 at St. Matthews, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.2
John's mother Jane Waller died about 1573 in Yaxley, Suffolk, England.1 John Sherman administered the will of Robert Sherman dated 12 April 1576.2 John's son Robert Sherman died in April 1576.2 John's daughter was married at wedding of Margaret Sherman and John Goffe on 22 April 1577 at St. Matthews, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.2
