King Ludwig III (of Bavaria)

King Ludwig III (of Bavaria) was born on 7 January 1845.² He was the son of Prince Regent Luitpold (of Bavaria) and Archduchess Auguste (of Austria).^1,2 King Ludwig III (of Bavaria) married Marie Theresia Henrietta Dorothea von Habsburg-Lothringen, daughter of Archduke Ferdinand (of Austria-Este) and Archduchess Elizabeth (of Austria), on 20 February 1868 in Augustinerkirche, Vienna, Austria.¹ King Ludwig III (of Bavaria) died on 18 October 1921 in Sárvár, Hungary, at age 76.² He and Marie Theresia Henrietta Dorothea von Habsburg-Lothringen were reburied on 5 November 1921 at the Cathedral of Munich.¹
