Duke Frances V (of Modena) was born on 1 June 1819 in Modena, Italy.1 He was the son of Archduke Francis IV (of Austria) and Maria Beatrice Vittoria Giuseppina di Savoia.1 Duke Frances V (of Modena) married Princess Adelgunde (of Bavaria), daughter of King Ludwig I (of Bavaria) and Princess Therese (of Saxe-Hildburghausen), on 30 March 1842 in Munich.2 Duke Frances V (of Modena) died on 20 November 1875 in Vienna at age 56.2
He became King (Jacobite) of England on 15 September 1840 replacing Maria Beatrice Vittoria Giuseppina di Savoia.2 Duke Frances V (of Modena) became the father of Princess Anna Beatrice (?) on 19 October 1848.2 Frances V's daughter Princess Anna Beatrice (?) died on 8 July 1849.2
Duke Frances V (of Modena) was replaced as Queen (Jacobite) of England by Marie Theresia Henrietta Dorothea von Habsburg-Lothringen on 20 November 1875.3
