King Ferdinando II (of the Two Sicilies) was born on 12 January 1810 in Palermo, Palermo, Italy.¹ He was the son of King Francesco I (of the Two Sicilies) and Princess Isabel (of Spain).¹ King Ferdinando II (of the Two Sicilies) married Maria Theresa (of Teschen), daughter of Archduke Karl Ludwig Johann Joseph L. (of Austria) and Princess Henriette Alexandrina Frederika (of Nassau-Weilburg), on 27 January 1837 in Napoli, Napoli, Italy.¹ King Ferdinando II (of the Two Sicilies) married Maria Cristina Sardinia, daughter of King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) and Archduchess Maria Theresa (of Austria-Este).² King Ferdinando II (of the Two Sicilies) died on 22 May 1859 in Caserta, Caserta, Italy, at age 49.¹
