King Fredrik I (of Sweden) was born on 28 April 1676 in Kassel, Chr Kassel, Hesse-Nassau, Prussia.1 He was the son of Landgrave Karl (of Hesse-Kassel) and Princess Marie Amalie (of Kurland).1 King Fredrik I (of Sweden) was christened on 14 May 1676 in Kassel, Hesse-Nassau, Prussia.1 He died on 25 March 1751 in Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden, at age 74.1 He was buried on 27 September 1751 in Riddarholm Kyrkan, Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden.1
