Princess Katharina (of Kleve) was born on 25 May 1417 of Kleve, Rheinland, Prussia.1 She was the daughter of Duke Adolf I (of Kleve) and Marie De Bourgogne.1 Princess Katharina (of Kleve) married Duke Arnold (of Guelders), son of Jan II Heer van Egmond and Maria van Arkel, in 1430 in Kleve, Rheinland, Prussia.1 Princess Katharina (of Kleve) died on 10 February 1479 at age 61.1
She became the mother of Princess Maria (Mary) (of Guelders) about 1432.1 Princess Katharina (of Kleve) became the mother of Prince Willem (of Guelders) about 1434.1 Princess Katharina (of Kleve) became the mother of Princess Margaretha (Margarete) (of Guelders) about 1436.1 Princess Katharina (of Kleve) became the mother of Princess Catharina (of Guelders) in 1439.1 Princess Katharina (of Kleve) became the mother of Adolf (of Geldern) about 1440.1 Katharina's mother Marie De Bourgogne died on 2 February 1441 in Paris, France.1 Katharina's daughter was married at wedding of Princess Maria (Mary) (of Guelders) and King James II (of Scotland) on 3 July 1449 in Holyrood, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 Katharina's daughter Princess Maria (Mary) (of Guelders) died on 16 November 1463 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 Katharina's son was married at wedding of Adolf (of Geldern) and Princess Catherine (of Bourbon) on 28 December 1463 in Brugge.1 Princess Katharina (of Kleve) became a widow with the death of her husband, Duke Arnold (of Guelders) on 23 February 1473 in Slot Grave, Grave, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands.1 Katharina's son Adolf (of Geldern) died on 22 July 1477 in Doornick.1
