King Friedrich III (of Denmark & Norway) was born on 18 March 1609 in Haderslev, Denmark.1 He was the son of King Christian IV (of Denmark) and Anne Catherine (of Brandenburg).1 King Friedrich III (of Denmark & Norway) married Queen Sofie Amalie (of Denmark & Norway), daughter of George (of Brunswick) and Princess Anna Eleonore (of Hesse-Darmstadt), on 1 October 1643 in Gluckstadt.1 King Friedrich III (of Denmark & Norway) died on 9 February 1670 in Copenhagen, Denmark, at age 60.1
